I‘m Lucas.
I was born in Germany, grew up in NY, and went and dropped out of Harvard to cofound DAOHQ, the world's first DAO marketplace. I exited it last year. Over Spring 2023, I worked at a16z’s CSS incubator on Plurigrid.xyz. Over the summer, I helped found https://cerebralvalley.ai and run hackathons with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hugging Face.
In my junior year, I took 20 courses, and I have worked on over 20 research projects for research partners like Stanford GSB Venture Capital Initiative, McKinsey, and Steve Ballmer's USAFacts. I also organized a campus-wide datathon with the metaLAB and supported by the Harvard Data Science Initiative (making me one of the youngest researchers at Harvard).
Over the summer of 2020, I founded Erevna, which hosts research projects and hackathons for over ten thousand students. Fall 2021, I worked with the Census Bureau, the metaLAB @ Harvard, and Opportunity Insights, where I helped write a paper covered on the front page of the New York Times and other newspapers.
In my free time, I like reading, playing board games, meeting new people, 3D printing, and running -thon events. I’m passionate about building platforms to help people find their people. To contact me, please email me at [email protected]. If you want to chat, message me at https://t.me/lucas_chu
